Programma
Il workshop, realizzato dalla collaborazione tra la Florida International University, l’Accademia Teatrale Lorenzo Da Ponte e la Fondazione Lucia De Conz, ha l’obiettivo di preparare i performer (attori e cantanti) all’approccio al mondo del lavoro nel campo del musical, sia in Italia che (soprattutto) all’estero.
Il numero massimo di allievi ammessi è di 16.
L’età minima è 16 anni, l’età massima 35.
Si richiede un minimo di esperienza o nel settore del canto o in quello teatrale.

Contributo associativo
L’Accademia Teatrale Lorenzo Da Ponte, la scuola che fa capo al Centro Teatrale Da Ponte, è gestita dall’Associazione Culturale Red Art Teatro e arti figurative. L’ammissione ai corsi è subordinata alla sottoscrizione della tessera associativa. La richiesta di iscrizione viene poi vagliata dal Consiglio Direttivo dell’associazione stessa che, in caso di accettazione della domanda, accetta il nuovo socio. La tessera associativa ha un costo di
30€/anno
Il costo dell’iscrizione all’associazione comprende sia la quota associativa annuale che l’assicurazione personale sugli infortuni, che copre non solo la responsabilità civile standard, ma anche le casistiche particolari che si possono presentare durante il lavoro in sala prove.

Modalità di iscrizione
Al termine della compilazione del modulo di iscrizione, riceverete una mail in cui vi verrà richiesto di inviare del materiale (un breve video, una foto e un riassunto delle vostre esperienze) tramite un modulo della Florida International University.
Quando riceverete conferma dell’iscrizione, potrete effettuare il pagamento del workshop (130€ + eventuale quota associativa di 30€ per i non iscritti all’Accademia Da Ponte) via bonifico

LE DOCENTI
Karen Veloz
Karen Veloz is an accomplished educator, concert producer, arts administrator and artist manager. Prior to her current position as coordinator of the Music Business Program in the School of Music, she worked for Pace Theatrical Group/National Broadway Touring Circuit and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts producing touring shows and educational outreach productions. Most recently, she was the Associate Dean of Advancement for the FIU’s College of Architecture + The Arts. Professor Fuller has presented papers in major national and international conferences such as the Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic, the International Association for Jazz Educators, and the International Conference on Arts and Humanities. She has published papers and remains an active producer and arts manager.
She is currently a member of the Association of Arts Administration Educators, Association of Performing Arts Presenters, and Chamber Music America, as well as many others. She has been awarded numerous grants for producing concerts, events and festivals. Fuller is an accomplished flamenco dancer and has studied flamenco under famed artists, Rosa Mercedes, Beatriz Gonzalez, and classical training in the studio of Martha Mahr. She has toured with Pedrito Rico, Los Chavalles de Espana and Rosita Segovia throughout Europe and the United States to the rave reviews of the press. Her performance was chosen by The Miami Herald as “The Best Classical Imaginative Work and Performance of the Year (2002). The distinctive character of her performance was called “…an energetic and rhythmically exacting dancer.” The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel ; “…[Karen] had the proud spine and machine-gun rapidity in heel stomping to stir excitement.” The Miami Herald.
Stephannie Moore
Dr. Stephannie Moore brings an eclectic array of experience into her work as a performer and educator. Known for her colorful stage characters and expressive musicianship, she is a true artist and communicator – equally comfortable on the operatic, concert and theater stages.
Stephannie’s teaching career spans more than two decades, specializing in Musical Theatre and Classical Voice. A sought-after audition and performance coach, her students perform on stages across the US and abroad and many of them are award-winning professional singers and emerging artists. She is currently on the voice faculty at Florida International University’s Wertheim School of Music and Performing Arts, launching their new BM and MM programs in Musical Theatre. In addition, Stephannie has a private voice studio in Pembroke Pines, Florida, where she works with a select number of dedicated performers.
Stephannie holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from the University of Michigan and a Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Pedagogy and Performance from the University of Miami.
AL PIANO
Nuria Camino
Growing up with a pianist as a mother, Nuria has been exposed to music for as long as she can remember. She began piano at the young age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since that time. She received both her Bachelor (2010) and Master’s (2013) from Florida International University in Piano Performance.
Ms. Camino is current an adjunct professor at Florida International University, teaching Class Piano levels 1-4, Music Business, and Leadership in the Arts. In addition to teaching, Nuria also plays at the FIU Faculty club on a weekly basis. Ms. Camino has also accompanied numerous vocalists and instrumentalists from many different institutions such as University of Miami, Florida International University, and New World School of the Arts and was the accompanist for the Florida International University Choir during her studies in her graduate year.
